Privacy policy

Last updated: 28 April 2026.

Who is responsible

This site is run by Mark van Paassen, sole proprietor, operating from Cornelis Schuytstraat 57, 1071 JG Amsterdam, the Netherlands. For privacy questions you can reach me at markvppersonaltraining@gmail.com.

What data is collected

Two situations on this site involve data:

  • Visiting the site. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics 4 records anonymized information about your visit: pages viewed, approximate location (country and city level), device type, and how you arrived at the site. Without consent, no analytics data is stored.
  • Sending a contact message. When you submit the contact form, your name, email address, and message are sent through Formspree to my inbox. They are stored only as long as needed to respond and follow up.

Why this data is collected

Analytics data helps me understand which pages are useful and where the site can be improved. Contact form data exists so I can answer your message. There is no marketing automation, no advertising tracking, and no profiling.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser only after you click "Accept" on the consent banner. Until then, no analytics cookies are stored. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's storage for this site, after which the banner will reappear.

Third parties

How long data is kept

Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months by default. Contact form messages are kept as long as the conversation is active or relevant to your training, and removed on request.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete the data I hold about you, and to withdraw consent at any time. Mail me at markvppersonaltraining@gmail.com and I'll handle it within 30 days. You can also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) if you believe your rights are not being respected.

Changes to this policy

If anything material changes, I'll update this page and adjust the date at the top.
